Not that you could describe Gary as a beast, he is a top bloke and a well respected photographer in the North East Midlands Photographic Federation and beyond.

Whoa...what a great portrait. He certainly could play the role of the bad guy...with this expression. Most likely could also play a cuddly teddy bear once he cracks a smile. Well done! Funny how I just looked up and saw a similar comment...after typing mine. :)
Gary sounds like a great sport. The contrast between the smile and the serious, almost angry, face really emphasises the "beauty and the beast". Bet they both burst into huge smiles once you'd taken your shot.
Great duo portrait Phil. You are so good at these. But Gary is too serious, you should have asked him to say cheese for the camera. I'm another who cannot smile at the camera.
