Two German Ladies on the bus from the beach to the hotel
A shot from our recent holiday to Fuerteventura.
Our hotel the Barcelo Playa Jandia Club Premium offers a shuttle bus to the beach and back (shared with the Barcelo Jandia Mar) and we were on the winter timetable.
The bus service is subcontracted to the Las Palmas Bus company, so one day you might get a 24 seat mini bus, another day a 54 seat service type bus, a luxury double decker or rather bizarrely an old school transit type mini bus complete with wooden tables. So when the bus turns up at the hotel or the bus stop in the resort (opposite the sperm whale skeleton) always ask the driver if they are going to the Playa or the Hotel Barcelo Jandia Playa, otherwise you might find yourself on a Catamaran trip or an Island Tour !!!
This picture was on the "old school" transit type mini bus complete with wooden tables. We shared a wooden table with these two German ladies . We all found it amusing, so I got my little Panasonic TZ7 out and shot a couple of pics, much to the amusement of the ladies. They then took a picture of Jane and myself. Oh and the driver like to put his foot down and throw the bus around the corners, which added to the excitement of the journey back up the hill
