Flying the Flag for Ghana

Another shot from the Nottingham Carnival 2017

This young lady was flying the flag for Ghana.

I loved the composition, the blue builders boards, the yellows, greens, reds and then the "no stopping" police bollard which so compliments the ladies outfit.

In fact the bollard is so important in the picture, without the bollard it isn't half as good :)

I could have done with the lady a few steps back, so she is walking into the frame, rather than central.

Anyway, I really like the shot and I hope you do too :)

There are a lot of customs in different countries that blow the whistle! Particularly on processions in Japan!

I do like this one. Great position on the flag and she comes across as so determined.

I do agree with you about the bollard. Love those seemingly oversized boots. Fabulous candid.
