Johnnie and Felicity arriving with Santa at the Garden Centre

A reportage style shot of Johnnie and Felicity pulling a carriage of guests and Santa to Brookfields Garden centre.

You cannot see Santa as he is sat down as Johnnie and Felicity were travelling at quite a pace.

Edited in GIMP with a retro style Kodak Slide film filter and a blurring of the Range Rover number plate.
Such a heart-warming festive sight and an unspoilt old fashion scene ( but for all the cars !! )

Great capture, Phil. Your Santa seems to arrive early compared to ours. Here he leaves it to mid-December to start appearing around. Looks cold there from the way Felicity keeps herself. Some people here (not me) still go out in shirts with short sleeves.

You really did a good job telling this tale...the red really stands out...and what a traffic jam!

I like the angle and the depth here, the pops of red of the horses' plumes draw the eye in and the line of traffic lead the eye through the shot. Nice one.
I think I can just see Sanata's hand waving? Just behind the driver's elbow.
Good thinking re. the car's registration. Lester once had his car registration cloned. He found out when the other vehicle incurred a parking fine and Lester received the penalty notice. So I've always been careful to blur out any fully visible licence plates in photos I publish on the web.
