Carnival Smile in Mono

Nottingham Carnival is all about bright bold vibrant colours.

As you know I always like a black and white photo and I think this image shows that mono shots can work at the carnival.

I took a picture of this lady at the Leicester carnival and emailed it to my friend Margaret who is part of the same troupe.

When I took this picture I spoke to the lady and told her I'd took a pic of her at Leicester. She told me that Margaret had forwarded the picture to her and it was the best carnival picture she'd ever had of her.

I hope she likes this when I email it to Margaret
