Saint Patricks Day Smile

This is from last months St Patrick's day celebrations in Nottingham ,

I saw this lady at the start of the day. I exchanged a smile and a "morning" with her. I saw her a few times as I wandered in and out of the crowd of people each time we smiled and nodded.

I got the impression she wanted me to take her pic, so just before the parade departed I asked her for a few shots. She was really pleased and posed for me nicely.

I never asked her name or asked her for a back story, I just wanted to capture the mood of the day
