This is a close up of Rock Chick, an owl inspired by Nottingham music venue Rock City. The artist, Jodie Silverman, pays homage to the many incredible female musicians who have played at the venue since it opened it's doors in 1980.

All these owls look great fun! They picked a good subject to display the various types of owl. Our eldest son s home town in NZ has cows...the Morrinsvile cows are famous. A rock chick owl...I like it!
