I am struggling for content during lockdown. Even today's snow wasn't very photogenic! Dull grey skies and only a dusting !
We are not to go anywhere other than essential travel and local exercise. I've not been to Nottingham City Centre yet in 2021, even though it is only 3.5 / 4.0 miles away.
This was shot towards the end of January while walking Ruby
Thackerays Lane park used to have football pitches, but now appears to be used as a flood basin for the nearby Day Brook. You can see how it is collecting water from the river bridge on the left hand side of the frame.

Beautiful! I can see a bunch of shots in the tree line and the sky. That hill back there looks very interesting too. Sometimes, we look at a view so much, we don't see all that's there. I'm still trying to think outside the box around here. =)
Gosh yes, I can't believe just how much water there has been this year. This is a nice park though. I haven't been in to Brum since December but my husband had to go in to give blood last week - he said it felt so weird being empty.
Yes w3 are all very bored with our surroundings these days...hardly worth taking a camera sometimes but if course you daren't leave it behind just in case! Looks a nice park to walk in.
it is such a struggle to find the content. you must be really missing your strangers project too. I had the same feelings as you about the uninspired dusting of snow.
I understand your frustration. Our restrictions aren’t as tight as yours but we still are advised against any unnecessary travel and not to mix with anyone outside our hous3hold. I keep myself to approximately a 3 mile radius from my house which gives me some options for shooting but I feel like I’m shooting the same things over and over again. I try to find a different look or angle but I miss the freedom to roam. Things are looking better now across Canada and hopefully, with the help of the vaccine we will come out the other side sometime in the summer. One can only hope.
