Frozen

The Duck Park Lake "Frozen"

It has been sub zero temperatures for the best part of a week, with a chill factor too in the easterly wind.

Our local municipal park looking rather lovely.

All the people
So many people
And they all go hand-in-hand
Hand-in-hand through their parklife

How lovely to see it frozen, it seems such a rare sight in England now whereas we always seemed to have frozen lakes in my childhood. Things go in cycles in nature methinks. Love all the birds around the edges,

@casablanca you are right Casa' , frozen lakes are quite unusual these days, it is quite a while since the lake froze like this
