Experimenting with my new gadget, my £22 lightpad.
I plonked (technical term for placed carefully) a tulip from some of the flowers I bought my wife for Valantines Day onto the lightpad and took a shot with my Sony A7 , Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 Di III RXD combo'
Faffed around for a couple of minutes post processing in GIMP with levels and saturation and this is the result.
Compositionally, perhaps I should have cut off the big leaf, then again maybe not as it does have some nice shape and shades of green to it.
The light under the leaf has brought out the lines and shapes really well.
Light pads are great, I have loads of fun with mine and use it quite a lot. It's useful for base shots for tonal inversions too.
