It is one year since we went into lockdown and Gedling Borough Council lit the civic centre in rainbow colours to show support for the NHS and respect to the 323 people in the borough who died due to Covid-19.
The lights didn't quite cover the whole rainbow spectrum but they did create a poignant display
Very touching indeed. Healthcare workers have had a dramatic time during this last year . I can imagine how sorry they have been watching people sick - and worse- dying while they can do almost nothing for them.
