I recently found an old expired black and white film that I put into my Olympus OM20 SLR.
That has inspired me to buy some new film online and use it in some of the vintage cameras that came bundled in with the vintage lenses I have bought.
So I ordered the black and white films shown in the picture. Many of you will be familiar with Agfa and Ilford, but may not recognise Fomapan.
Foma is a brand made in Czech Republic by a company that was founded in 1921. They are recognised as specialists in black and white films.
So I've decided to put the first roll of film into a Pentax ME Super 35 mm SLR. The camera came with a set of lenses I bought. I've got Pentax 28mm , 50mm and 135 mm lenses, so I have some good glass to test the film. I might try the Fomapan 100 first !
Fun times ahead. The lady who is in possession of vintage cameras you helped me with also has lots of film. It's still an ongoing issue but I shall ask what the plans are re the film as most of the interest has been for the equipment only.

Hi everyone, I loaded the first film of the five shown today. I went with the Fomapan 200 profil line creative into a Pentax ME Super. I had a little walk around Arnold this afternoon (with a 28 mm f3.5 Pentax SMC lens) and did some street shots with it. The sad bit is after I'd clicked the shutter , I looked on the back of the camera to review my photo, not much to see though ...other than the little black square used for putting the label of the film box in (to remind you what you are shooting with ) !!!!!
