A long line of vehicles queue for fuel on High Street Arnold , at the ASDA petrol station.
The queue tailed all the way back to Sainsbury's, who incidentally had no fuel at their petrol station.
My vehicle tells me I have 100 miles of fuel in my tank, so will not panic buy, although I hope to get some by the weekend to enable me to get to watch Bolton Wanderers
The reasons for this crisis are complex, but if truth be told (and this government aren't very good at at that), then Brexit and Covid probably top the list of the complex reasons.
Seems to vary I filled up last Sat and only had to wait about 10 mins to get to the pumps.Ironically it took me longer to pay. There was only one till open. Are Bolton local to you this weekend? Can't forgive them for thumping us 5-2 the other week!
We only have to get a whiff of a shortage of anything & panic buying is the result….all ok last week then no fuel as soon as it’s mentioned. I have 60 miles on my clock but enough to get by until it’s back to normal in a few days. Good to see your queue! I haven’t seen one yet!
