John Lewis Back Entrance / Exit by phil_howcroft

John Lewis Back Entrance / Exit

This is the back entrance / exit to John Lewis Nottingham.

It has been shut for most of the pandemic, with only the front entrance doors being open.

The back entrance is a far better option because the front entrance is inside the Victoria Centre shopping mall and therefore busier.

A slice of life on Milton Street, Nottingham

A great candid with the people carrying on with their daily life to and from the shops !

Great capture

It does look busy and you captured the atmosphere perfectly. At first I thought the young lady with the pushchair was your daughter but then at a closer look I saw she isn't.

Nice street shot.Bit worried about the chap on the left though seems tobe moving off the crossing

Still so odd to me to see people out and about en masse and no masks. I am still a mask wearer. But lovely to see something "normal" looking too.

Nice lively scene,Phil. We too have abolished masks in the open, not inside shops and theatres. At work and in closed spaces it’s mandatory to show a “green pass” that states that one’s been vaccinated or has a negative test taken within 48 hours. Yesterday there was a nice concert with an attractive program but after some doubts I decided not to incur the risk albeit small

Wow you have a John Lewis….lucky you! Our nearest one is south Manchester. Love this entrance with the zebra crossing! You could stand there & see all the world pass by. I don’t wear my mask outside but put it on in every shop.
Love the clear sharp shop name slap in the middle!
