We have a travelling fair that comes to Arnold every July, just before the schools break up.
It has a couple of white knuckle rides , dodgems, lots of children's rides and several side stalls.
We had a brief walk around the fair. It had to be brief as it was a hot afternoon and so it was up one line down the next line and then home.
I did however manage to take a few photos in the few minutes, including the lady who runs the tin can stall (you can see them behind her right shoulder).
I asked her if it was OK to take her photo and that was that, no stranger back story, just a lovely colourful street portrait.
Sony RX100V11. Hope you like it. I have some more to share
I love the background. Yes, it's busy but it also blends very well and match her top. A lovely portrait of this lady. Her complexion lets us think that the day was hot!
@corinnec thanks Corrine, the UK , particularly England, is in the middle of a heatwave, we are about to reach our record ever temperature over the next few days, possibly 40C
It's very nice Phil I think the colours will compete well with the heatwave! Although here, nearly 8 a.m, it's beautifully fresh and I'm doing what the weatherman on TV said: open all windows early to let in cold air and then shut up and draw curtains worked fab yesterday!
I wonder if its the same we have this way, 2 weeks ago it was at Keyworth, then last week in Clifton. Same time every year. Guessing Arnold could be a good next stop.
