Cinestil 50D fine grain film excels in bright sunny conditions.
There's a lot of shade in this shot but the "Home Ales" building (a listed building) is bathed in low winter sun.
The Home Ales building was part of the Home Ales brewery, a local Nottingham and Notts beer.
Home Ales had been brewing beer in Arnold from about 1890 and was Acquired by Scottish & Newcastle Breweries Ltd in July 1986. The brewery shut down in 1996
The building is now part of Notts County Council's portfolio of buildings and host office space
I like how the film has rendered the red brake lights and traffic lights
Beautiful street shot. The shot, and the film, have done a wonderful shot. All the red lights are visible and in focus and this is one lovely street scene.
you are right. the quality of the red lights is excellent. I find the architecture interesting too and like how the building is framed by the street lights either side in your composition.
@boxplayer it's an iconic building Box' always pleasing to see too
@busylady Judith this is the Mansfield Road, the A60 trunk road, northbound out of Nottingham to Mansfield. The cars in the photo are driving towards Nottingham , we are about 3 miles north of the city
