The Bolton Wanderers pitch looking in a poor state at Saturday's Efl League 1 game between Bolton and Portsmouth
This is the view from my seat.
The pitch was voted best in EFL 1 last season , but this season it has past its sell by date )or is that passed its sell by date). The harsh winter, ice, lots of rain and many matches, have took it’s toll on the turf. The Rugby League International beween England and France didn’t help either
Anyway the Wanderers ran out comfortable 3 – 0 winners , the third goal being a beautiful team goal, pass and move, ending with our centre half passing the ball into the net from the edge of the area.
The journey home to Nottingham wasn't quite as beautiful, freezing rain and a 25 minute delay on the M62 near leads due to an RTA.
