@rjb71 Richard - when we first saw it, with people around it, it was just water. I thought it looked boring, a pool and one jet of water. We actually walked away, to the pool and fountain opposite. We came back, and people were still looking at this single spot of water, i was puzzled as to why, when it dropped to nothing. The base lit up and then the water rose, slowly, taking the flame with it. It was lit for 5-10 seconds; went out, the water dropped, base lit, water rose, burn for 5-10 seconds. This was repeated a few times and people walked away. It then went back to a single spout of water. Carole was saying let's move in and I said I wanted to see it again. After about 5 minutes, of a boring single spout of water, it dropped, The flame lit, the water slowly rose and then, stayed at maximum height WITH the flame continually there for around 10 minutes. Took loads of pics (even had time to swap between camera and iPhone)
So interesting, both yours and @carole_sandford photos are fab. Love fountains. We saw a range of really interesting and mind-blowing ones at Alnwick a few years ago but none with fire! Might have to seek this one out.
@henrir@dawnee@lyndamcg@mandygravil Thank you for your views and comments. It's an amazing fountain, very ingenious, and it's also interesting to see the different camera effects
