Lincoln Cathedral by phil_sandford

Lincoln Cathedral

Carole and I walked around the Cathedral grounds whilst we waited for the Lancaster this morning; I'd only brought my 70-200mm lens, so was struggling to take photographs of anything close by, so was left to shoot the top of the cathedral.

It's a fabulous building, but unfortunately at the moment (and for a few years I believe) the front is covered with rather ugly scaffolding whilst they conduct some urgently required repairs
Marvelous tower architecture!

Great image. I used to live in Lincolnshire so saw the cathedral often. I haven't one photo of it!
