Another plant that I just adore and totally understand what you need to do to look after it and, more importantly, control it. Like the Valerian I posted earlier this month, it is an incredibly invasive plant and again, like the Valerian, the reviews on Amazon (other online shopping sites are available) say not to buy it.
Butterflys love it, though they appear to be in scarce supply this year so far; i’m hoping as it has only in last couple of days begun to flower it will in the coming weeks bring in the butterflies.
Mine are also coming into flower , I keep mine well under control by a good pruning in the Autumn ! and like you I have seen no butterflies yet this summer , not even the cabbage white !!
