Jack Sparrowhawk by phil_sandford

Jack Sparrowhawk

I’d let the bird feeders empty, totally empty, had only had the odd Passerine bird in the garden, most giving me filthy looks through the kitchen window “Oi Human!! Fill the feeders you @&£!” Even the squirrels were staying away. Lunchtime I topped them all up, peanuts, sunflower hearts & seeds, fat slabs and fat balls. Within a minute, the first Blue Tit was in the garden, then another, then the first Great Tit, the Robin, Long Tailed Tits and Goldfinches. How they knew not a clue, some kind of messaging obviously and then, within half an hour, Jack Sparrowhawk came by (she went hungry).

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
