Cluedo SFX

As you’ll know, we kind of had a ‘Board Game’ resurgence in the Sandford household over Christmas. Putting the decorations back in the loft I found 2 boxes, Trivial Pursuit DVD and Cluedo SFX. Today we’ve played both.

Cluedo, an elimination game to find out whodunnit, where and what with, is enhanced by an interactive board that was very reminiscent of the Robin Williams Jumanji film. Thankfully we had no charging elephants or marauding monkeys to deal with and I was able to ascertain it was Mrs Meadow-Brook with the Garden Gnome in the Swimming Pool.

(I also won the Trivial Pursuit DVD game (the cheese questions are off a DVD so audio/visual) but I said I wouldn’t mention it. 😜😜)

@casablanca When you come to Lincs during 2024 to see the 3 NT properties we have in the County (2 are good and 1 is meh), pop round, stay over, and we can play it 😜😜

@casablanca this edition first came out in 2003. I think it may have been played once before today! So it’s been in the loft for 20 years! What amazed me most was that the batteries were still working!
A bit of a hoot with the plummy voice! Definitely different!

@phil_howcroft Ha. Back to work today after my enforced furlough, so no time now for more games in the afternoons. Beats staring at a screen though and was certainly reminiscent of a childhood well spent. Are you looking for a specific camera/lens or just wishful browsing?

@phil_sandford well a bit of wishful thinking , convincing myself I need a fourth camera and spending some money from the "savings we made" from not having a vacation since the
pandemic , we have our first holiday this summer 🏝️. The Leica q2 monochrom keeps talking to me . I haven't approached the subject with my wife yet 📷. I've watched loads of YouTube reviews , browsed lots of photos , downloaded the user manuals .
