Pair of Dancing Poppies

No apologies, I've been back to the Poppy Field that I found on Monday evening.

Had to go from Wilts to Glos this evening to conduct a final recruitment interview, which went well. I then spent an hour or so with my MD discussing tomorrow's Staff Training Day.

On my way back to Wilts, I've called in on the Poppy Field and was really suprised by how few are left; I think they'll be all gone by next week. So, as I'm in Chelt all day tomorrow, then heading home to Lincs, and not back here until Monday, you've got another poppy photo.

Weather is turning and the sky is threatening storms to break this (lovely) heat wave, hence the colour of the sky.

As I entered the field I saw these two, dancing in the breeze. The photographs I took from side on and from above didn't work for me. They were basically repeats of the shots from Monday and Tuesday. So, almost lying on the ground, I got this shot from below, with the dark clouds as the backdrop.

Hope you like.
They look like folded red satin! Beautiful!

Really like how the poppy flowers jump off the page then you are led towards the 'hairy' stems.
