Up Up and Away

in my beautiful balloon.

First day back at work today after our jaunt to London. Had no idea what to photograph today; you nearly got a poppy.

I have a chiropractors appointment tomorrow for my back, so a quick recce out to find the place and I noticed a couple of hot air balloons taking advantage of another gorgeous summer's evening.

A drive out to where I know they cross rather low, and voila.

@mbrutus thank you. This balloon managed about another 5 minutes in the air; he was frantically burning to get over the M4 motorway (think interstate highway) as it ploughed into a field. Wish I'd caught that.
