We have our eldest granddaughter over this weekend. This morning I took her to see the Emoji movie (unless you have a 6 yr old, I wouldn’t recommend it) and this afternoon, I’ve dragged her off Nanny’s iPad and into the garden to play with bubbles and a bubble-gun.
Admittedly, the bubble mixture is now over a year old, and it wasn’t that great back then; it was pretty breezy in the garden, so many of the bubbles died almost immediately, but we had fun, got wet, and I managed to capture this shot of a 6 yr old (nail varnish courtesy of Nanny) nonchalantly firing bubbles into the Lincolnshire sky
This is a great shot and it's quite right that you posted it. It definitely needs to be in colour, you did the right thing there too. Not so sure about your comment about live subjects, I remember lots of brilliants shots of garden birds!!
