Hawthorn by phil_sandford

Hawthorn

The Hawthorn is out in full blossom; the roads are lined with it, the air is full of the scent of it and the antihistimines are working their magic.

I do love this time of year, as nature bursts into life and the winter just gone become a fading memory. My hayfever today, compared to when I was a child, is minimal (the occasional sneezing fit but on the whole I am far less afflicted with it than I was in the 60s, 70s & early 80s)

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.

Wonderful light on these flowers! They are lovely.

Love the use of negative space to set the hawthorn off.
