Wiltshire Poppies

My thanks to @johnsutton for telling me where this poppy field is; not a million miles from my weekday accommodation and on a road I possibly drive down once a month.

Took a trip out after my consultant’s dinner for one, parked up and walked the short distance to the field. It looks to me as if it’s all in a ‘rape oil seed’ field but I’m not sure.

As I said on a post a few days ago, the Poppy (especially these wild ones that appear randomly) are possibly my favourite flower and have a deep meaning for me

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering taking it to theTP and PP. Much appreciated.
A stunning image.

I like your choice on focus and blur - the colour of the poppy really stands out - you could say - like that pop of red!
