Flags of St George

The flags of England flying from the battlements of Lincoln Castle. I love seeing this flag flying, from churches, from public buildings. I don’t see it often enough. It comes out every 2 years or so for a football (soccer) competition, apart from that, it’s generally hidden away as it’s been kind of highjacked by the far right for political purposes.

The other Nations within the UK fly their flags, proudly and quite rightly. The US do it also, equally proudly. I would love it if we did it more.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
Totally agree with your sentiments. Lovely minimilist shot.
