Was only saying to Carole at the weekend that I hadn't seen either the Sparrowhawk or Woody for while and on Sunday evening Woody was back at the peanuts and, by the time I returned with the camera, he was gone.
Just popped out to get a coffee and he was back on the peanuts again; this time he stuck around long enough for me to find my camera, fit the 600mm lens and to shoot a few (okay, around 30) photographs of him; he didn't even fly off when I carefully opened the kitchen window to get a better shot.
Still no sign of the sparrowhawk - if you recall, last time I saw him, he seemed to be favouring an injured foot ............

Oh he is a handsome dude! Vicariously living my bird watching lifestyle through 365 at the moment and looking forward to moving house at some point and getting some wildlife in my own garden too!
