We got their early, very early, 4 hours early, and it wasn’t long before we realised we were pretty new to this outdoor event game in the UK; after an hour, having set up our chairs and cameras, we were getting decidedly chilly and still had 3 hours before the event kicked off. Still we had a picnic.
The crowds came and came, the pre-show entertainment was, to say the least, dire. We had googled “how to take firework photographs” in the morning and had set the cameras up accordingly (Bulb, Long Exposure Nosie Reduction to ‘on’ (later turned to ‘auto (if it needed it, it would do it)), f/11, manual and infinity focus) and pointed them into the sky. The hardest part was judging when to expose and when to stop exposing and, where to point the camera as fireworks explode at different heights.
We got home early this morning (exiting the event was very smooth) but we basically had a cuppa and went to bed, hence the late posting of the photographs this morning). Anyway, in my opinion, this is the best one of the bunch (and I took a large bunch).
Thanks for dropping by as usual, and for your views, comments, favs and continued support of my offerings.
