Poinsettia Leaf by phil_sandford

Poinsettia Leaf

I think this leaf had fallen off the Ponsetti when Carole moved into the conservatory to photograph a few days ago. It was lying forlornly on the black backdrop and was just crying out to meet a photographer with a macro lens.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
How did you light this?? It's a shame leaf details are blown out. I would prefer a less tight crop yo the right of the tip of the leaf.i like the curves of the leaf, difficult to capture

Very nice capture with the shiny backside of the leaf and the velvety front.

Oh yes. I can see it posing for the photographer. Good you came along to give it the treatment it deserved.
