New Additions

After 11 weeks, I’ve taken delivery of some Eryngium (Sea Holly) and Echinop (Globe Thistle) plants to put in the back of the border. Carole and I have liked and wanted some of these for a while now, hopefully they’ll survive (they have 2 choices, live or die) and provide height toward the back.

Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
They are lovely I hope they do well. We bought one plant earlier this year but we’re still not sure if it’s going to do well.

How have you processed this?? It's very soft and out of focus or was it windy??

Bees adore echinops and it will self seed like crazy, sea holly I find is a very fussy plant and dies in my care!!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond No processing at all. Taken intentionally in B&W, at biggest aperture possible with the macro lens, with the focus on that thistle and after 20 odd shots of it moving in the breeze, I’d had enough and posted the best.
