Yesterday afternoon, whilst putting the recycling bin out at the bottom of the drive, I noticed the huge Hollyhock which had the one flower and thought, that'd work for tomorrow's photograph in my month of 'last ofs.'
This morning, the flower I had looked at was lying on the turf and the bud above it had come out, complete with water droplets from the rain overnight
