We have new neighbours, they moved in just before Christmas and he is an ex RAF Physical Training Instructor (PTI) who did his last 7 years at Hereford. He and I have hit it off well as only veterans (I hate that term) do, and I somewhat foolishly said in an offhand comment that I may be in need of his skills in the new year as I seriously need to lose weight and get my Covid lungs working again. Over Christmas he texted me to say he was working on a plan for me, and this morning at 0630 the two of us set off on a 6.5km 'fast walk' that he's designed for me. Well I did ask!!
My ‘aim’ is to get back to being able to ‘run’ the 5km ParkRun on a Saturday without having to stop as I was doing before Covid broke.
