Captured at Sweetwater Wetlands Park. I haven't seen one in a few years!Update Dec 02 2019.
I’ll be taking a leave this week as we will be on holiday. I will likely be back in 6 weeks or so, may be a little longer or shorter. First I want to thank everyone for helping me get back into photography. I’ve had 4 surgeries in the last 8 months and it’s been a difficult time for me. You and 365 have helped me get back on my feet and into enjoying photography again as well as meeting new/seeing old friends. You’ve all been gracious in accepting me back each time I disappear and reappear!! You all have an open invitation to come by and visit if you’re ever in central Florida. I can be reached at billandmaria@gmail.com. All the best in life and photography.
What gorgeous sheen on those feathers - beautiful.
Will miss you while you are away. I really enjoy your images and so glad it has been such a positive experience for you too. Having been down the surgery route myself a few times, I know how important it is to have something wonderful to focus on. Wishing you all the very best while you're absent from 365 and sending lots of love to you both from my little corner of England.
Thanks for sharing your photos. Wish you a speedy recovery. I know what it is like. Sitting in a wheel chair for a year the photo's and 365 friend keep ones mind busy. Enjoy your holiday and be save. Waiting for a second hip replacement on 13/1/2020. I will be away when you're back. We will enjoy your holiday photos once you are back.
Have a wonderful a holiday - as wonderful as this amazing bird!
And I've just read the whole of your description and agree: the community here is welcoming and supportive and tolerant and friendly and caring and concerned. Friends we'll never - but, occasionally maybe, may - meet.
What a beautiful bird. Have a lovely vacation. I will be leaving 365 for a while at the end of the year too as I have so many other projects on the go but will pop in from time to time. Have a lovely Christmas and I hope 2020 will be a wonderful year for you and your family.
I will miss your photos. Your bird photography is especially inspiring. Enjoy your holiday and we will look forward to your return. I agree, 365 is a special place!
