The Negress is a bronze sculpture originally created by French artist Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux. It was displayed during black history month- 2013, at the Ringling. It may be a replica. Still, a magnificent, emotional piece.
This month I will be using The Crypt Album to celebrate The Ringling Circus Museum in Sarasota Florida.
The Museum of Art, Bayfront Gardens, and Glass Pavilion are free to the public on Mondays. It was only once a month, you may want to call prior.
