Another collage because I wanted to capture my whole day.

Not quite X marks the spot.

Recovering from surgery and my first experience of a nerve block.

Dressed - the backslab was bigger than I expected but with a little help I managed to get my shirt on. Just look at how straight my wrist is.... I'm filled with hope!

Looking good so far. I had a nerve block with my last wrist operation, it was a very weird experience

@kjarn really weird! My brain was convinced my arm was laid across my stomach even though I could see it upright in a sling by me side

@boxplayer apparently its less demanding on your body and easier to recover from than a GA. Thank you there's definitely less discomfort when I'm sat today!

@plainjaneandnononsense sounds good, I've never had a general and hope to avoid if I ever need any kind of intervention.

@plainjaneandnononsense @boxplayer yes, the older you get the less safe it is to have a general anaesthetic but I hated the nerve block.
