In order to help reduce the swelling in my hand I tend to rest my elbow on the table with my forearm pointing upwards. My friend commented last night how sticky the table was. I agreed as I'd already felt my elbow stick to it. What I didn't realise until this morning was that it'd removed a layer of skin!
