A Christmas Tree and a Walking Man

This rather huge Christmas tree makes its yearly appearance at Martin Place in the heart of Sydney's city.

Unfortunately I didn't have my tripod on me and this was a spur-of-the-moment shot - I'd like to go back there and do some proper long exposures :)

You have a real gift for incorporating the color of a scene into your images. The mood of each image is built on the tones. You gallery is very impressive! As your Get Pushed partner for this week I've been browsing through trying to decide on a good challenge. I've noticed that you've only done six photos in black & white since September. I'd like to see a shot that only works in b&w, meaning that, if left in color, it would actually detract from the effect of the image. Please let me know what you think.
