sports technology

I got the awesome opportunity of photographing a conference for the Australian Sports Technology Network, held right here in Sydney.

You wouldn't ordinarily think of sports and technology meshing together! There was actually some pretty interesting/cool stuff, like the biology/physiology of elite sports, shoe manufacturing, designing sporting stadiums and venues...

I love how intent in listening the two gentleman in focus are... And that they are looking at the speaker who is looking at the screen.. Draws the eye naturally thru the scene

I like how in this shot you focused on the attendees not the speaker. I'm sure under the lights she can not see how intently they were listening.
I have to ask - I remember your studies for finals and your graduation shots and being from the medical field - are you working in the medical field? You are doing a lot of photography work and just wondered were you find the time.

@sianipops Hi Nia, thanks for the comment :) Yeah that's right, I completed my studies late last year and decided to take it easy for the first few months of this year; I have now started looking at jobs in the medical journalism (or thereabouts) field - I love the science behind medicine but I also love writing and media... so we will see what happens :)
