The weekend started off with thundersnow, which is not the most common weather phenomenon but is exactly what it sounds like-- a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain. It dropped more than a foot of snow overnight, so Saturday was a slow day with bad road conditions and lots of heavy, wet snow for everyone to shovel! We went for a little walk late in the afternoon and I caught the golden sunset reflected in a little stream.
