Once, in Amsterdam, we saw street art/poetry that said "When the streets are wet the colours slip into the sky" and I think about it quite often-- especially while in the car on a rainy day, when the city lights reflect on the pavement and the lights themselves are distorted by the wet windshield. I snapped this photo from the passenger seat while Chris was driving us through downtown Kitchener.
