Viper's Bugloss is one of those plants that's officially a weed but that I think of as very pretty. We've had a bit of rain lately, and some of the plants are shooting up! I didn't even know this bugloss was in our yard and all of a sudden it's like, a metre tall! I went out and snapped some pics between rain showers. I'm not 100% sure why the background of this particular shot came out so dark, but when we looked through my daily photos, Christopher thought the dark background looked cool and set this one apart.
