We saw a bunch of ducks by a creek this evening, and while they were mostly mallards (the usual), there were also four Muscovy Ducks in the mix. Muscovies are not a native species here (they're a tropical duck) but they have been introduced through farming. Every so often they can escape (or are let go-- which I am sure is illegal) and live amongst the native ducks, as seems to have happened here.
I liked how this pair was sitting so close together, making a heart shape with their bodies (me and my found hearts, lol). I didn't want to go behind them too much and upset them, but I'm hoping you can kind of see the shape in the photo, anyway.
