This will probably be the extent of our Christmas decorating this year. The tree holds the ornament portion of her nativity collection and is in her bedroom where she can see it every day.
Hello, My dear friend, Katy! I just had to come here to tell you that my minion Stu is coming to visit YOU! So get ready! He is crawling into the box with some other "goodies" and treats for you, and will be traveling through the mail to see you. I hope when he gets there, he might appear in a pic with you so I can see how he is doing. I hope he will cheer you up and keep you company! Here is a link to Stu writing you a message and crawling into the box...bon voyage, Stu! http://365project.org/espyetta/365/2013-12-05
Uh oh.. better hope Schatzi doesn't get jealous...and bury Stu in the backyard! Lovely tree katy! And MB @espyetta it depends on what you're talking about :-) Sure mattered with the Grinch!
Hi Katy! I JUST found out about your accident from MB last night. I'm so sorry Nd so thankful for your sweet husband posting on your behalf and giving us updates. You are now in my prayers for healing and rest and peace. God bless and love you!
Too funny about Stu and so sweet. Love this photo and your beautiful tree that you will get to see every day. We have a small tree that we place on our fireplace every year now. We call it Christmas in a box, well the tree is in one and our decorations are in another one. Your husband did a wonderful job, Katy. You are also doing a wonderful job with photos. This one came out awesome.
@espyetta
As I stated there was screaming, jumping, yelling, and other boisterous activity as a result of the posting of Stus pending arrival!
It certainly cheered her up from her "funk" as she put it.
I am so thankful for your assistance in not allowing these injuries to keep a spunky person down!
@darsphotos
When I was in foreign countries (military), Katy always made sure I had a Christmas tree with all the trimmings. It was interesting to hear everyone singing Christmas carols by that little tree. That's my Katy.
Well, you are WAY ahead of me--we don't have our tree up yet and very little in the way of decorations. Just trying to get through our last football season.... Know you are enjoying your Nativity tree.
@prn awww! I am SO glad! It is such a small and silly thing, but it sure is nice to keep one's mind off our misery with frivolous distractions! Right? I cannot wait until he gets there.
@prn You have a wonderful wife in Katy. What a wonderful memory for the two of you, this Christmas tree. I will be getting something in the mail for Katy but will be a bit as I have been really sick for 2 weeks with an upper respiratory virus (that is not gone yet) and did not want to touch anything and put it into an envelope or box until I am better. Went grocery shopping tonight as I felt better with my husband and there were people talking about being sick and a couple of my favorite peeps at our two grocers really sick, just like I was at the beginning of this. I am so glad that Mary Beth has a package on the way to Katy and love your comment about doing dishes. Dishwasher and paper plates in our house. It is so hard to take on what you have but you are Katy's husband, the same as mine dealing with me 22 years through all I have been through and a super trooper as he hates hospitals and any medical stuff. Kudos to you. Thoughts are with the two of you.
