Phillip Is Victoria is renowned for its penguin parade. We didn't hang around for that, but it was lovely to see that nesting boxes had been set up on the hillside not far from the walk way and you could see into them.
They used to be called Fairy Penguins, but apparently that's not PC any more!
Aren't they gorgeous. They were always called fairy penguins when we lived in Victoria. The world has gone mad. People are so precious these days.

@onewing I miss 'fairy penguins' too! @haskar we were a bit of a distance away, this is heavily cropped. But I think they're very used to people here. @kvphoto yes I agree. Always fairy penguins when I grew up. I guess the world moves on.
