When I lived in Canberra in 1966, Lake George was filled with water. And then it all went away.

Is the pub at Bungendore still going?

@shirleybankfarm yes, apart from a couple of showers it has been dry for quite a while
@terryliv Yes in the 60s it was often full, but not much nowadays. I believe there is a pub in the main street of Bungendore but suspect its a bit different from your memories!
