Much as I love our native flowers, I am also seduced by the floral abundance of the introduced exotics from around the world.
The garden is quite barren here over Winter so its always such a delight to see it bloom as Spring approaches.
Hellebores in front, daffs in the middle and star magnolia behind.
I know how conflicting this can be. These are gorgeous though and I would also plant them - but I'm sure they'd die!! :)
I love the very slight painterly feel to many of your images. :)
So pretty- and it looks like it takes pretty good care of itself too. Nice shot. (I can't grow anything here- the soil is lousy and the critters eat what manages to push up through the soil.)
