Roadside stop

Driving up the centre of Australia on the Stuart Highway there are not a lot of road side stops. Someone had painted these chairs and table so they liked quite cute. Otherwise this was quite a barren stop in the desert but a great view of a white (salt) lake.
We had our lunch and moved on out of the cold wind.

I'm impressed by how tidy it is. So many of the rest stops we've seen have been strewn with rubbish. It makes me so cross that people trash these areas that have been provided for them.

This is almost surreal - in this great space there's a painted trash can and seating area. It's absolutely and entirely wonderful!
