Deep Well check point

Believe it or not this is a section of the Finke desert race track. It’s less than a third of the way and one of the refueling stops. Already someone has encouragingly put up this sign:
Deep well
C’mon
Dig deep
Maybe it helps some exhausted riders to keep going!
Old car bonnets are the canvas of choice here!

@pusspup spectator only! A lot of local lads who enter though. My son loved motorbikes when he was a teen, and plenty of open spaces here to shoot about. Came down thru Strzelecki years ago to visit hubby s family in Adelaide, so wish I had camera then. Boulia is fab country if you go through there.
